Dunky pour yourself a whisky mate, I agree with you a 100% for once, Sky's commentary has been poor for a while now, tonight confirmed it. :good
So your calling the boxer/puncher style boring then? because that's what Bellews style is, again your overall boxing knowledge is shown to be ****, I suggest you go away, find a boyfriend and get a pet, you could even call it Bellew if you like? :good
Why the hate? Bellew fought a proven world-level banger, you don't go rushing in. The McKenzie fight proved this.
i think that fight may have effected his confidence in going on the attack tough it has made him a more patient fighter who uses his good boxing skills more
Its a strange one, now Im not saying that SKY should suck up to & cover up for to their fighters, its just that they normally do, & it came as a shock to hear Glenn sounding like he wanted to get into the ring & fight Tony himself he seemed so irked by Bellews 'antics' Especially that comment after Bellew walked away from Miranda instead of pressing the advantage to which McRory said something along the lines of, "If Bellew loses tonight hes going to regret THAT moment for a VERY LONG TIME":nut Completely mental stuff, as I thought Bellew was winning at a canter! Adam & Glen having it just about even at the half way stage... it was all just a bit strange....
tuned in for the final 2 rounds and the fight looked a bit dodgy. i like bellew though, he has a look of a crazed individual
It was a kind of a boring fight,it seems like when Tony is in against bangers he takes a safety first approach(smart),for a relatively shot fighter Miranda put up a decent effort before the shameful quit job,I dont think Tony is world class but beats most people at European level..
Bellew is shortening his career by fighting at 175, he would be fitter, stronger and faster at CW. I don't think he lives a healthy lifestyle in terms of giving his body the correct amount of nutrients and raw materials it needs for his naturally weight. He lost to Cleverly because he was drained at the weight, and if he loses in the future it will be down to this reason aswell. Nathan Cleverly beat him fair and square, but Bellew's intensity and fitness was evaporated in the second half of the fight! and he could not keep up or contend with Cleverly's intensity. Because i honestly don't think Bellew should be at 175! He is a CW naturally, a big CW aswell. Cutting weight to make fights, or living at a unnatural weight is a risky business.
I thought Sky's scoring was a bit odd too, Bellew was pissing the fight on the cards yet they only had it by a couple.
Give me another 5 months, and i will call out Tony Bellew.... Seriously he is drained at the weight, he should move up to the CW division. It's a better division right about now, and there are bigger fights like Huck! He will be much stronger at CW! the CW division has potential to be the best division on the planet.
