That's fair, but Abraham couldn't stop him then. Pavlik did it first. And after that he's looked a lot less formidable, so really he was past prime pretty fast based on his performances. Obviously he's worse now, compared to when he fought Ward, but not so much that it's now a meaningless win.
It's all about gettting the win and keeping your paymasters happy and since Hearn is locked into a Sky contract and is very keen on Bellew then job done. However, Miranda's 'world class' credentials were massively overplayed. Miranda is a virtually fully shot, blown-up middleweight. The respect that Bellew gave him by allowing himself to be walked down shows how serious the self doubt he has about his chin is. Good job camp Bellew knew this particular opponent would get tired well before the end. A smart 'name' pick by Hearn
I'm fine at the weight, I don't dry out and I eat on the morning of the weigh in, I eat 2600 calories a day when dieting and eat 5/6 meals, I don't enjoy it but make no mistake I have no problem making weight.. Thank you for your concerns but your way off in all honesty pal, way off...
I didn't think it was the most exciting fight, but a very good performance. What sense would it have made to go out and trade in the first few rounds? I thought Bellew did enough to take most of the rounds then when he felt Miranda was less dangerous stepped on the gas. Good gameplan imo:good
Fairplay.........i still feel you will be much stronger at CW, and all you're physical attributes and components will be enhanced. David Haye at heavyweight probably consumes over 6000 calories during in training camp, probably even more considering Amir Khan consumes 6'000 calories during training camp. It's not solely about calories anyway, it's about the density & nutrient value of you're food. Something for the future anyway! Well done anyway!
Biggest. ****. Online I'm sure you said you were leaving the forum if Haye lost to Chisora. Can you please stick to your promise, you utter spastic
Bellew's fights are becoming boring and hard to watch and the reason is he has no confidence in his chin when he fights someone in his own division who can bang and comes to fight Bellew gets stopped, he needs to move up to cruiser now or he will be ruined
Enjoyed that last night Tony, you took your time and done a good job on him, very mature performance, loved your double jabs. :good
