I think it was a good performance . Was it a performance that will put Tony on the world stage? Yes I think so, Miranda has only been stopped by the best in the world.

**** me, there are some bull**** comments on here....

Firstly, congrats to Tony on a job well done.

Secondly, to address some of the critics both on here, and pundits alike. What's this suggestion that Tony has no confidence in his chin? If that was the case, you don't get in the ring with someone like Miranda in the first place! Miranda is known as a dangerous opponent, who can really bang. Past his best or not, if you stick your chin in front of him, you are getting taken out, as Chad Dawson supposedly found out whilst sparring for the Ward fight. Tony did ship a few big shots from Miranda, took them well, and mostly came back with bombs of his own. Yes he fought cautiously...it's called 'managing' the fight. He took his time, established his range, and picked his moments, culminating in a very impressive stoppage of a dangerous opponent. I honestly don't know what more can be asked of the guy.

The commentators also had it wrong imo. There are too many people expecting Tony to go to war each and every time he gets in the ring. Yes, much of this has come about due to his early fights, but he is operating at a higher level than before now, so it is natural that he has to temper his natural aggression, as he will get taken out if he follows that 'advice' of the commentators and some of the muppets on here.

It's ****ing great this natural tendency of the British to build up their countrymen, only to wish that they fall so they can criticize. Honestly, some of the posters on here ought to be ashamed of themselves. Tony is one of the few really good upcoming boxers we have in this country, with a genuine shot of achieving something, and jut because some don't agree with how he fights (despite getting the job done), most see fit to come on here and rip into him... bunch of ****ing tossers!

Bottom line is this - if you feel able to do better, lace up a pair of gloves, get in the ring with the level of opposition Tony is fighting and show us all how it's done!

Tony - keep doing what you are doing. I for one enjoyed the fight, commend you for your efforts, and also coming on here and connecting with your fans (and detractors...)... keep it up kid!

    Agree with the above,

Its a beautiful Sunday morning , enjoyed a great night of boxing Tony made a very good world class fighter quit and yet he gets stick.

Half of the posters on here were watching the X factor anyway and didnt even see the fight!!

    peace.

It was a good, intelligent performance, boxing to a clearly-defined gameplan which is encouraging. My only problem was that I thought he could have stepped it up earlier. It seemed to me the first time he chose to really put the pressure on Miranda was the 9th and he got him out of there; I think he could have done that anytime from about round 6 on. Still, he boxed really well so props and onwards and upwards:good

I think the crowd were ****ing tossers someone chucked there beer at him and jumping out and goading him... Miranda shouldnt get treated like that........
Anyway of my soap box good fight by tony Miranda is a danger man, they took him into the latter stages of the fight and finished him great right hand that ,rocked mirandas head back followed by a good body shot. Good night..
Sky sports pundits.. "he;s come to fight". No **** as miranda is trying to take Bellews head off ,there stupidy never cease's to amaze me

i thought it was a very "professional" performance by Bellew myself.

ok, granted it wasnt a barn stormer. but isnt Boxing known as the arts of hitting, WITHOUT getting hit????

my only gripe with Bellew' performance was his lazy jab in the first few rounds, it was too slow, and he left it out there for too long, which gave MIranda the window to throw some half decent over hand rights. Hopefully his trainers and himself pick up on that when they watch the replay.

the ending was good, although less of the show boating walking away rubbish. Pressure, Pressure, Pressure!!!!!

I think Tony had the right game plan. Johnny Nelson was spot on when he said Miranda can end careers and safety first is better then standing there and trading punches like Amir Khan? He will have a longer career that way.

i know, its bloody annoying when you get some douche bag slagging off one of the only fighters to even post here

its no wonder that Tony is one of the few boxers on here to post regularly enough.

dont get me wrong, we shouldnt massage Tonys scrotum or anything, but at least dont be an absolute knob head
