Tony Canzoneri vs JM Marquez @ lightweight... who would win?

Tony spent a good deal of time at lightweight and carried the weight better. I think Tony would be countered but I also believe his durability and strength would wear JMM down. Tony was active and lively and at 135lb that just isn't JMM weight class.

And he was quick guy that didn't get hit as solidly as you may think. I just don't see the JMM that struggled with Diaz lasting the distance.

 

He does have something to do with this thread when we are talking about Marquez, since we are talking about his wins(or the ones that he deserve:yep).

I wouldn't say he did that to either of those fighters. He had his hands full with both of them (particularly Diaz), and took some time to break them down before stopping them.
