Round 2

Jab by Conquest. Tims holds himself straight up, trying to lean back and skirt the jab. Conquest ducks low as he advances, twitching his shoulder up and turning a bit out of the way of Tims' defensive fend-off jab. Big combination by Conquest jumping in, trapping Tims on the ropes with a few head shots getting through. Clinch. Tims digs a left to the body. They wrestle around, stepping on each other's feet in the middle of the ring. Tims flicks a jab but gets backed into a corner by a big overhand right from Conquest. Double jab by Conquest, before ducking and weaving through a few light punches from Tims.

Round 3

Conquest is jumping in with jabs and chopping shots over the top. Conquest is switching back and forth from southpaw to orthodox, mostly jabbing as a lefty. Tims is pushed into the ropes and flaps down at Conquest frenetically to get free. Nasty cut caused by a head clash. Richie Davis is having a close peer as both men work on the inside. Conquest is throwing a bit more, a bit faster, and a bit harder. Tims is pushed into a corner. Body shots by Conquest. Tims gets him in a headlock while swinging his right fist up into his mouth.

Round 4

Right hand over the top by Conquest to put Tims on the ropes, and then an uppercut to the flabby spare tire. Tims leaps in and ties up after Conquest bounces outside on his toes. Tims is muscled into a corner and Conquest raps away to the body. Tims gets him in a bear hug and spins him, so Conquest's back is now to the ropes. Pendulous body shots by Tims, slow but heavy. Conquest ducks an overhand right and gets back in Tims' chest, grappling with him. Tims ducks low and Conquest pushes down on his back with his forearms. They grind together in the middle of the ring until Conquest's strength gains the edge. He pushes Tims to the ropes and nails him with an uppercut that more than gets his attention. Tims holds on. 1-2 by Conquest putting him in the corner. Tims is a sitting duck, straight up, chin in the air. All he can do is desperately reach out and grab Conquest as he's letting his hands go. Long clinch. Right hand, left hook by Conquest bashing through Tims' guard.

He's the sort of bloke who, if your girl leaves you for him, that's it, doesn't matter how rich he is, you just shoot yourself then and there.

 

Round 5

Conquest is pushing Tims into the corner and alternating straight shots with the left and right. A powerful cross rocks Tims back into the ropes. The Irishman ricochets forward into a hold. Conquest pushes into him as they dial their way around the Box Academy Rainham Steel logo. Tims gets some separation and tries to fish for a right to the body as he drifts into a corner. Conquest tucks his middle in and drops his upper body off to the side, then gets back inside to work the body. Tims leans down on him and throws some uppercuts, missing wide behind Conquest's back. Solid 1-2 by Conquest. Tims ducks an overhand right but as he rises eats a straight. Tims is pushed into a corner but slaps his way out with a soft left hook to the cheek. Conquest pushes him to the next set of ropes.

Round 6

Conquest is circling left and lashing out with jabs and rights, but not putting any snap on them, just touching Tims from the outside. Sort of a foot-off-the-gas-pedal round for Conquest. Even with the Brit recharging his batteries, Tims can't gain a foothold, with his lumbering body attack ineffective and getting him slapped back into a corner with overhands by Conquest. Tims has to hold on. Conquest keeps shoving ahead, using his arms to prod Tims across the ring. Right jabs to the body by Conquest from the southpaw stance.
