    Round 7

Conquest catches Tims in a momentary lapse, arms at his sides, with a big overhand right. Tims just grins down at him, holding his beefy wings out to try and force Conquest off. Light body shots by Tims. Conquest lines up 1-2s up top and uppercuts to the body. Conquest is really pouring it on, despite a weak argument from Tims with his constant flutter downstairs. Tims DOWN at the end of the round!! Bowled over by an unanswered bashing overhand right combo. More exhaustion and balance, but a legitimate knockdown.

    10-8 Conquest

    70-62 Conquest

The referee has seen enough. Richie Davis waves it off before the eighth can start.

    TKO7!!

Might've seemed necessary had Tims actually tried to punch it. :conf

Dive? Also IB said that it was more like a exhaustion and balance but really.. What I saw was a massive right hand... Of course Tims was tired and beaten up but that was a huge punch..

Good performance by Tony, it looked like he had taken his foot off the gas & settled down to coast to an easy win but that right hand was a lovely shot.

Conquest vs Dickinson will be a good fight

What about Haapoja vs Conquest? Would be interesting.. I mean that's not happening but both of these beat Tims and Haapoja's EU-title might be interesting at this point of his career.. Okay nobody knows Haapoja here but hey, I'm Finn and just speaking everything that comes to my mind :good

Bailey and Pettitt each get a thousand pound bonus from sponsor Rainham Steel for having the FOTN.

    Well earned.

Nah, deffo wasn't a dive. If it was he'd have ridden out the count on the mat instead of beating it to make it to his stool.

"You can't be saved by the bell in any round.."

Besides, it was a legit knockdown even if he was ripe for a strong wind to blow him over.

Perfect stoppage by Davis, too. An eighth round would have just been a merciless thrashing as Conquest had plenty of gas left and wasn't pulling his punches.

    Just bumping the thread..

IB how did you think Ricky Boylan performed? I boxed with the lad when he was younger. I've been told by someone who trains with him in the past that he's promising. I saw him floored once against a Bulgarian Journeyman.

I saw the score on boxrec as 39-38 then checked your analysis. Is he going places or do you think he's one of those lads who looks the part but doesn't have the ability to match?..
