    Round 5

Cacace is finally starting to open up and try to crack Balsys' shell. Big wide right uppercuts drag along and spank into Balsys' left hip. Now slapping combos to the body by Cacace. A few more serious uppercuts, Cacace sitting down on about half his shots now. Balsys circles, raises his guard, skips away, and does the barely adequate minimum to defend himself.

    50-45 Cacace

    Round 6

Balsys comes out for another session of taking his licks. Cacace is still off the jab and focusing on the body as in the fifth but without the same urgency to make a firmer impression on Balsys. Cacace whips away, underhanded, not overdoing it but getting a bit visibly arm-weary just from the repetition of the effort. Balsys is again a mannequin on a carousel, remaining inanimate in his defensive posture but for a couple of light jabs per minute.

    60-54 Cacace

    Round 7

Balsys is actually digging deep and finding the will to throw his right hand now, circling wide and then diving in with it before curling into a ball on the inside and backing out while tightly covered up. His rights aren't landing, but they're getting Cacace to slap down at him on the way in and out and disrupting his body attack. Fortunately for Cacace these disruptions are infrequent enough that he can still slap at Balsys' belly from outside enough to easily preserve his shutout.

    70-63 Cacace

She's a bit flat-chested for my tastes, but that mound... :dead

I bet it's hairier than a chinchilla, too.

    Round 8

A more concentrated effort on the front foot by Cacace, setting up straight rights to the body with up-and-under lefts out of a springing squat. Balsys is stepping back, churning the air with his jab, and prancing left as Cacace approaches with his left arm held very low, back to imitating Mayweather, except instead of lead rights he's throwing lead underhands to the body. Left uppercut to the face by Cacae as Balsys crossed his feet circling out of position. Flush jab by Cacace after Balsys spins him off a miss. He whips around with a right, partly blocked. There's the bell, and they tap gloves and hug as though having just ended a fierce war.

    80-72 Cacace
