Round 3 Baker is on the hunt, putting left hooks and right hands together. Walsh circles to his right, in pattycake position, palms turned out like catcher's mitts. A few flurries to the body by Baker. Walsh isn't offering him much else to work with. 30-27 Baker
Conquest-Tims is interesting fight to see. Conquest's KO1 win over Leon Williams is a good one(and that's the only Conquest fight I have seen.) He was pretty impressive. And I saw Tims fighting my countrymate Juho Haapoja. Tims was tough as nails and his chin was absolutely rock that night. Decent technique and a big heart but he's not very strong and his power is below average.. It was his physique that gave up against Haapoja but his heart and will was there every round. He has good determination so this might be interesting! Conquest is stronger man for sure but Tims determination and toughness is not that easy to break so let's see.
Nah, watching live, but this computer is so dreadfully slow that having multiple browser windows open (to both watch & post) slogs everything down. It takes an extra minute or two for the posts to submit and it freezes up often while I'm typing them. Midway through the fourth we are now, yes? :good
Round 4 Baker is dropping his shoulders and rolling his upper body to either side on the way in, trying to embolden Walsh to open up and give him space to land. A few jabs between the pinned elbows and slapping hooks up top by Baker. High jabs into the pinky area of Walsh's gloves. Lots of ducking and evasive maneuvers by Walsh, putting a punctuation on a very negative performance. 40-36 Baker
Conquest is a decent fighter, one of the best cruisers in the UK. He's a fluid combination puncher with good technique, not very fast or explosive but a nice fighter to watch. Not sure about his chin & he maybe lacking in power but his defence hasnt looked leaky so far against the competition he's faced. He's had a lot of injuries but should be fighting for the British title soon
Round 1 Hoy comes sweeping in with left and right uppercuts after waiting on the outside a bit to get Alfadli into a lull. Alfadli is indefatigable (say that five times fast), keeping his hands down low and simply jerking his head back or sidestepping when Hoy charges in. Some attempts at counter jabs and hooks by Alfadli thrown blind from a leaning duck are unsuccessful. Hoy is jumping in a bit recklessly aggressive but Alfadli isn't punishing him effectively for it despite his reasonable defenses. A clubbing right to the back of the head by Hoy is the best connect of the round, though barely legal. 10-9 Hoy
