Just as I post that Skeete miraculously pulls of the knockout.

Was that really a knockout? :yep

I'm not calling it a 'British stoppage', mind you, Loriga needed to be spared any further punishment as much as we did - but it was hardly a concussive finish. Loriga never even went down, and might actually not have without interference.

    Oh. Skeete has twin boys.

So if the family business is passed on, in twenty years' time Skeete's kids will be on TV boring ours kids to death...twice over. :!:

I'm glad this generation features just the one Skeete per card.

Oh I agree. But i'm not going to complain, as you said we needed saving from Skeete's terrifying onslaught.

Eddie commentating. Does that mean he already fought, or does it take a couple of hours still before he's on?

    Was he? :blood

You mean relative to usual? Then yeah, maybe. (credit mainly belonging to Loriga for playing the clay-pigeon role...)

By any other measure, though - deary me no.

He fought hours ago before the BoxNation televised coverage even started.

Both not really a big surprise with the level of opposition he was fighting.

Matovu was reportedly game (for having taken his assignment on a couple days' notice) and of his forty-nine matches all but three have gone the distance.

Nobody has ever destroyed him as fast as Eddie did.

Still nothing to read too heavily into, but Chambers is going through his paces and taking care of business during this HW comeback.

He needs to step back up in class soon, however - even with the understanding that his situation today with the revolving door of substitute opponents was outside his control.
