Buglioni is jabbing into Khomitsky's guard from outside, timidly, like a girl scout knocking on doors pitching cookies. Rising double jab and right cross into the mug from Khomitsky, sending Buglioni into a scramble to regroup. Buglioni repositions himself outside and gets the jab flowing steadily, mostly caught on the arms of Khomitsky. Buglioni puts in a straight combo on the body, partly blocked.

Buglioni is finding himself driven into the ropes, copping high jabs and rights on the brow as Khomitsky slingshots from a crouch and hurtles inside. Buglioni is circling, lax and without much imagination, feeding out jabs. Khomitsky slips the jab and turns over hooks up and down. Buglioni eats a right hand but fires one back. Stiff jab by Khomitsky, jarring Buglioni and making him blink.

What a feather in the old Ukrainian-Belarusian's cap if he can manage to seize a somewhat meaningful title outside his prime weight - from an unbeaten kid, no less - at this late stage.

Buglioni is working in and out with the 1-2, his attacking rhythm improving and shipping less punishment from the shorter man as he doesn't linger to get his receipt after dusting Khomitsky's head with his light straight flurries although Khomitsky does find him with some rights slapped up from a deep lean. Buglioni circles wide out. Buglioni is jabbing up over the crest of Khomitsky's skull or parallel to it, shy a few inches. Right hands on the body and up on the neck from Khomitsky.

Round 5

Buglioni is tripling his jab, not really snapping it out but touching Khomitsky with it. Buglioni is boxing well behind the jab, keeping the overall contact to a minimum. The round still hangs in the balance due to his anemic offense in spite of all that, however, as Khomitsky lands a flush right hand on the button. Buglioni is hurt but jabs in on Khomitsky, briefly holding and then dancing around him, filling his moat with more light jabs.
