I watched it last night, felt you were were ahead, Mr Dodson. Shame you got caught, but he did what he had to and finished the job. I'd feel proud of myself for turning it round like that - but you can beat him if you rematch.

Great fight....have a rematch and if you win, a trilogy. Closely matched, you must prove your superiority!!!

Unlucky Tony I was there saturday was a great fight, like others had said I had you winning 10 of the 12 rounds.

Hope to see you back in the ring soon, and good luck mate.

I would imagine that the cut will take some time to heal so if Magee can make a fight soon then he would get first choice on a fight with Quigley. Dodson may have to fight an eliminator to get another crack at the title too but I would expect him to come through the rest of the fighters at super middle. Whatever happens both fighters have plenty of options with Maguire, Anderson, Maxwell, David and Goode hopefully son ready to step up.

Personally I think Liverpool deserves a rematch or bring in Scousers Dilks, McNally and Smith in for another battle. It could be a great time for the city if these lads fought each other. All are of good class and have entertaining fights.

As someone posted earlier Quigley was carrying too much fat on saturday. so if he got in better condition surely his future is at middle weight. That must have been a sore one too take for Dodson having been infront for 8 rounds then to lose it at the end like that. Fair play to Quigley though, he looked dead on his feet at points and showed real courage to pull through. I think Magee will beat Quigley at super middle so we may not see a rematch with Dodson.

Tony i watched the fight and had you dominating and on your way to a points win by 3-4 rounds. You had two poor rounds in the fight you got the cut and that started a terrible 2nd round for you,

you showed immense character and came back like a spartan warrior and from then on you proceeded to smash lumps out of him and had chances as Adam said in the corner to take him out somehow he didn't go i still don't know how then all sudden the fight swung his way. You boxed so well you fiented used head movement vaired your punches and boxed like a very talented pro you are your defense can't really be faulted as that cut was terrible and you showed bravery to keep going and to go onto dominate like you did is a credit to you and your trainer.

A rematch has only one winner for me and that's you as you out fought and out boxed him round after round with near on one eye. Quigley got the win because he showed balls to stay in there and he showed me he has good ability and cannot be faulted he is a deserving British champion but imo he's not going to be a British champion long with yourself and Brian waiting in wings.

Boxing's a strange sport look at Bernard Dunne Kiko Martinez knocks him out he's looking for a shot at European title and all of a sudden he gets a shock shot a Ricardo Cordoba and wins and i can see you with that Lonsdale belt soon and your right Adam Booth and Haye are doing a great job. Thanks for a fantastic contest!!!

I think I would have had the fight at least 7-4 to Dodson going into the 12th.
