Tony F ucking Bellew!

HAha, nice one.I remember one fight i watched of arnies and he had a keano shirt on,probably framed on the wall now?
Tony did execellent in getting up from a shot that majority would have been knocked out.Not only that but went on to win.Once tony lets the big shots come naturally rather than forcing them, the knockouts will come again.Ive said this before, maybe the occasion got to him, being in home town, trying to impress with big K.O.
Its all experience.great to watch such an exzciting fighter.

 

Yeah he must be somewhat of a good trainer, I shouldn't really judge him without first hand experience, just when I've listened to him, he doesn't seem to give specific instructions, although you might say, when has Mayweather needed special instructions to adapt?

Im not taking a shot at Bellew when I say this or anything, I know he posts here, and he comes across like a nice fella, someone who has good potential, but maybe Tony should shoulder a portion of the blame more so than than Farnell? I mean you can tell a fighter to do this that and the other, you can school him specifically(technically) on how to throw certain punches, but what you cant do imo, is make his mind up for him when he goes through his thought process, the times when he decides to throw punches, what punches he's going to throw, and from what distance he's going to throw them, that is down to the fighter imo.

I wouldn't go too hard on Bellew though, he is seemingly a power Boxer who has just fought two very unorthodox, awkward fighters, they want all be like that, and he did win at the end of the day, of coarse you would have concerns going foward, but I guess he has time to improve in some of those areas. Bellew will learn a lot from these fights, which is a positive in the long run, it will stand him good sted in the future, I say its better to have these kinda fights, than blow outs over lower echelon fighters that dont deserve to be in the ring with you.
