    How does he fare?

I say aside from the Klitschkos, he cleans out the HW division knockout after knockout.

The klits would definitely beat him... Everyone else, I think, loses.
    Including Haye and Adamek

Very competitive but not a champ

  5. i think that galento was very undisciplined, he was fighting with over weight, he was a hard puncher but i think that haye might beat him if he fight intelligently, by tko.
Galento would ko adamek,chambers,briggs.. He would beat valuev by ud.
He would have chance to beat the wladimir of 4 years ago by ko.
    He would lose against vitali

If he had come along a few years earlier he might have landed a belt for a short time.

He would lose some fights by DQ

He would lose some fights due to poor conditioning.

But he could certainly KO any of these heavyweights around today.
David Haye wouldn't dare fight him.

Yea, Two Ton Tony was so stubborn he didn't need to be in shape of technically sound.

I always thought that the only chance a fighter has to defeat a significantly superior boxer is to just fight him awkward, and hope you land the KO shot before he does.

It seems thats how Galento was going about his matches. His pure stubbornness actually got him in a ring with Louis who he knocked down.

Imagine if TTT was in shape. He could have been something like John L Sullivan, no? Or maybe him being pudgy and out of shape is what helped him be who he was.

I think he loses to Jeffries, Fitz, Corbett and Sharkey. Could beat Ruhlin and a faded Maher.
Looses to Johnson, great fight with Hart.........

Why do you persist in questioning the greatness of Tony Gallento?
