Except perhaps Wilder. It's sad really. Most heavies today that aren't naturally above 230 are forced to use peds to keep up with the top guys if they want to succeed.
Why? How does he beat them, in your opinion? I see him struggling mightily to land anything clean on Wilder, especially.
Let me guess--without "PEDs" all of the men on this list would be frail, 210-lb weaklings unable to fend off Galento's ponderous but powerful onslaughts? :think
Interesting that the most favoured win for Galento is over Wlad. I'm thinking some think he might be able to burrow in close and crack his jaw.
I have seen athletes with long histories of PED use and the same athlete off of them. What were juggernauts became in shape but much more lanky fighters. Much less definition. Much less muscle mass. Lower weight.
He'd beat Pulev and Ortiz and the Joshua as he is at the moment. galento was rough customer and he has more experienced and faced better oposition than those fighters and done well against them. I'd give him a shot against Wilder too if he can land his bombs.
So basically, he has definitely improved since the Dustin Nichols days. Actually I could go with that. Damn, I hope Wilder doesn't become some sort of undisputed champion. He makes for great trolling material.
Have you watched any Ortiz fights? He would butcher Galento. Galento has no chance there. Ortiz is a well schooled fighter with a long am career. He knows what he's doing in there. And he's beaten Jennings already, who is arguably better than anyone Galento beat and better than the man himself. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
