This is the first of three reviews I should have completed a week or two ago, but forgot about them.

This clip was brief yet entertaining. The short, pudgy Galento roughed Ettore up for one heck of a time. The rounds were not displayed; everything was seamless. Actually, round 4 was shown as somebody walked around the ring with the card. It would appear in that round that Galento dropped Ettore, who was partially knocked through the ropes. Galento continued his wild swinging, and Ettore nearly went out the ropes again. After the slide that said "It Won't Be Long Now!", Ettore was knocked through the ropes. After some difficulty climbing back in, he got up, only to be chopped up and knocked entirely through the ropes and into the press row. It was pretty funny to watch, but Ettore probably didn't feel too good. Surprisingly, Ettore made it back in in time, but was beaten up for a short time before the ref shrewdly stopped the match.

Verdict: Hardly significant, but it is one of the few Galento fights we have a chance to watch. Plus, it does have a pretty comical conclusion, if you like slapstick.

Rare film. Thanks for posting. The two men had similar swarming styles, but Galento was the stronger and by far the more dangerous puncher.

I had only previously seen Galento against Louis and Baer.

Poor Ettore seems to have been punched out of the ring a lot. Louis did that to him also.

Despite his lack of defense, I am coming around to Galento being better than I thought.

Whatever, this is a fun watch.
