    galento and cockel were tough tough men they wernt even close to being sucky fighters.

    Cockell had a kidney ailment that made him retain water; his appearance isn't necessarily indicative of his overall conditioning;also, the early rounds of his Marciano challenge shows that he was actually fairly quick, till Rocky ground him down.
