Fun fight but Rocky stops him in the mid rounds. It'd be two sluggers going at it but the stronger, harder punching, more accurate, and better fighter would win...which means Marciano.
Rocky is way too tough and conditioned for Two Ton, he grinds him up in 5 or less. Afterwards Galento tells us if it hadn't been for this or that he would've "moided tha bum."
If either guy throws a legal punch at any time during the fight they should have points duly deducted. Not acceptable. Boxing isn’t a game of tennis you know. If you ain’t cheat’n’, you ain’t try’n’. Both guys were known for trying very hard so they’re not allowed to disappoint. .
doity, doity fight. I think Galento would have his moments but let's be honest one of these guys has trained to go hard every round of 15 rounds and the other guy has trained to have a round of beers after 5. Marciano might be technically better which isn't something you get to say often. Rocky either outworkes him handsomely or knocks him out late.
Galento might land a lucky "Sunday punch" like he did against Louis but Marciano ultimately gets him--KO or stoppage in roughly 5-6 rounds.
