...........we have a hw in our gym that has been offered a fight with d. wilder and i am begging him to take it..........
A thread was started on this guy months ago and the consensus was that he was a pile of goo who happened to also be an intriguing HW American boxing prospect...
Who is that? 'Tony Grano' sounds like a mobster to me... "This is my nephew Tony, he's gonna win this fight on KO in round 4 otherwise you're gonna sleep with the fishes... capice?" :bbb
Why do people keep making these ridiculous assertions about Grano? It's 95% of the reason most everything said about him is negative backlash. He is what he is, people. (a heavyweight version of a Gatti type, but not as skilled...nowhere near a world beater but just an honest C/B level fighter who will always give a gutsy effort) Appreciate him for that. If it weren't for threads proclaiming him the American hope (he isn't) it would be impossible for people to not root for him. Personally, I like him for ending the Kaufmann hypetrain (and because he's a local boy). As long as Eddie Chambers is kicking, unless some NEW blood comes along - stop talking about any other active heavyweight as being the best out of the USA.
