There were about 8-9 clear Harrison rounds (including the one in which he first went down), and maybe 1-2 rounds you could argue for Charlo (albeit incorrectly)

No mystery; it's the chin. (for Harrison; less so Carr)

I guess I do, Charlo is to basic and doesn't have enough power to do anything to either J-Rock or Hurd. J-Rock is better than you are giving him credit for, he shuts Charlo down and possibly stops him. I'd pick Hurd but it would be the closer fight to 50-50.

Harrison fades late. Carr didn’t have a great chin either.

I supported Antonio all the way because he was a FIGHTER!! Like Pac he came up the hard way fighting seasoned pro's at 16-17 yrs old. He got NO perks from the state commissions or suspect judges. What he go he EARNED!! All he ever did wrong was to legitimaly kick Cotto's ass causing both Oscar & Floyd to miss a big $$$ fight against Cotto. Man did they make him pay for that

I guess so, I just don't see any possible way for Charlo to beat Hurd or J-Rock.

I tend to agree. Tony is a master technician. He knows how to play mind games, he has a very awkward style, he's hard to hit clean. And he is a very accurate puncher, he knows how to take advantage of openings. One thing we learned tonight, was that what happened in the first fight was no fluke. Tony Harrison is a force to be reckoned with at JMW.

I thought Lennox provided some good insight, but Brian Kenny is horrific.

The only round outside of the knockdown rounds I gave to Charlo was round 4. Round 7 I scored even. Round 5 I thought was a pretty clear Harrison round. Round 6 was close but thought Harrison nicked it. Round 10 I thought Charlo was finally gonna win a round but then Harrison once again stole it with the flurries in the final 30 seconds. So I agree with you in the sense that Charlo barely won a round, but most of the rounds that Harrison won were still relatively close, several of them were very close, it was just the clean punching and late flurries that kept winning them for Harrison.

As many have pointed out, Charlo's body punching was also a factor. The body attack did pay dividends in slowing Tony down. I recall one in particular a shot to the stomach that seemed to hurt Tony a little bit but he had a good poker face about it. The judges may have paid more attention to Charlo's body attack and I also think it was a smart strategy by Jermell to go to the body like that, becuase of how hard it is to hit Harrison clean upstairs. But again the problem for Jermell was that yes he would land a couple of good body shots, but Tony would come back and land clean jabs upstairs and clean flurries on Jermell, and was blocking a lot of Jermell's big looping shots. So as good as those body shots were I just personally didn't think they were as eye catching and significant as the clean inside flurries he was catching Jermell with round after round. Jermell just left himself too wide open at times, he would start winning a round then would get careless and Tony would turn the tide of the round. This happened in almost every round.
