Nah, the Mags are Newcastle who are Sunderlands big rivals, it was them who got relegated and the Sunderland fans (Makems) are loving it!!

TFFP i aint taking no **** from him no cliches or 'all my opponents was good' BS ill get him talking, in fact i heard abut those bobbies who got done for torture i might use afew of there techniques to get him talking.

But dont worry ill try and get him talking what he thinks. As far as i know its just like a freindly interview between him and me so im not sure if anyone else knows.

i say that ill be hard on him but im going to be embarrased if i get star struck, i dont think ill post on here again

Ask him if Maloney plans to keep him busy ala Tyson Fury or if he will keep him fighting every few months.

A few words of advice on preparation and execution of your interview:

    1. Forget about a page full of written questions, the actual interview will not flow to reflect this big page full of questions. Instead, scribble down several key question areas, i.e. like a rough flow-chart and for each question area have a few pointers (one or two words, not sentences,) next to it that remind you of each related question in this theme. During the interview all you do is have a quick glance at these question areas, rather than look like a novice by stop-starting and reading out the full sentence from a page.

    2. Don't forget it is an interview, not a chat. In a chat, the info flow is two-way it is normal to give your own personal view on something, avoid this when conducting an interview, even if it is nice an informal and friendly, always stfu and let the interviewee finish his answer, dont forget to bolt on follow-on questions, if the answer leads to interesting new ground. The worst thing that can happen is that you go home and transcribe the interview and then say to yourself why didnt I ask 'why' that was so or 'how' did he go about doing that etc. Or, if you are recording the interview and hear your own voice talking over a wonderfully insightful answer to the point you cant make out the end of the sentence, you will curse yourself.

    3. This brings me to the final point. Be sure to ask if it would be ok to telephone for any clarification or follow-up questions in case you need later find that you missed something.

*A bit of flattery at the beginning will make the interviewee warm to you (provided you do not come across as a weak-at-the-knees awestruck nuthugger) and if you have been give 20 minutes, you normally extend this by another 10-15 minutes because they are getting something back (ego-massage).

*Also, before you leave ask your interviewee if they could suggest another member of the sweet science for an interview. At least one name, number, email.

Why would you get star-struck? To be fair he's hardly a super-star, he seems down to earth and he's a human being just like me or you.
