I would have totally dissagree and say both Liverpool and London have much better talent than the North East, even Manchester but the Manc's are looking for their next big thing and there is nothing really on the horizon.
:good this dont agree with what he says either, and off topic slightly i have not seen anything special about jeffries abilities so far, if anything ive been dissapointed
I would even say Yorkshire is a bigger hot bed of talent than the North East: Kell Brook (on verge of a World Title challenge) Jamie McDonnell (European Champion) Gary Sykes (British Champion)
The North East is much more reknowed for it's amateur boxing, and before Jeffries major TV cards were only when it was Newcastle Arenas turn on the rota
It's just a bit of regional hype. What I would say is, the big fight atmosphere up there rivals anywhere in Britain...which isn't really the same thing.
Jeffries has/is doing a lot for boxing in the North-East, but we are far from being 'England's Boxing Capital'.
"Heading the bill being televised by Sky Sports is another rising star, from the area's true capital, Darlington" :rofl
Hope Jaffa doesnt underestimate Banbula and rush in. He has a belta jab but doesnt use it nearly enough
