Can't be asked watching the video but there's nothing sh*t about Floyd's padwork, I've seen it many times.
This type of pad work is used for keeping fighters loose, that's it.
There's plenty more different intentions that you can work on the mitts.

Lets be real here, floyd was that good he could have put a glove on his chopper & helicoptered it at the pads. He’d have still gone 49–0

Tony Jeffries has a brilliant channel on YouTube and his insight is always top notch. That pad work Mayweather used to do was for the cameramen in the gym. Only clowns like Tunde took it seriously and copied it obsessively.

I trained in a boxing club for a year in west London about 10 years aged and there were guys doing the flashy mayweather pad work. It all looked like a load of rubbish to me. Then one day Ruislip boxing club had there boys come down to spar, they beat the crap out of those guys trying to be mayweather, it was quite funny to watch at the time

"There's some benefits to it, it's good for timing reaction"..... I turned it off after that. Nothing about Mayweather is s***.

I dont agree with jeffries. A lot of floyds game was built off that padwork. He had the work ethic....the fundamentals granted...he just needed the reflexes to back up them fundamentals.

Floyd was always razor sharp. A lot of his training was that padwork it wasnt just for the cameras.
