Tony Jeffries - When will he have his break out fight?

    Grove has picked up the Commonwealth belt, Degale has picked up a bogus belt, but does have momentum.

    Whereas Jeffries, like Price at HW, is falling behind his peers. What opponent would you pick to motivate him, push him up a level, but not expose him too soon?

    Carl Dilks for an Area belt would be a great test it could also be for the English belt, if Paul David still holds the belt a fight against him would focus him. I just hope he does not spend another 12 months treading water against journeymen

    I like him as a person but his boxing seems to be getting worse and all the stuff outside the ring like changing trainers can not have helped him.

    On current form he looks a million miles from fighting anyone half decent but maybe th step up would get him motivated and we may get to see the best of him.

    Anyone from the last Prizefighter would be a decent test right now.

    with the way jeffries has been boxing lately i don't think a big step up needed. working on his boxing in the gym for a few months would be better for him, some decent sparring and lots of technique work

    Apparently this next opponent has been in with some decent names and is better than his record suggests.

    Either way, barring Nathan King he's bound to be better than every other opponent Jaffa has been in with so far.

    I've never boxed in my life but I'm convinced I could have beaten at least two of them, in fact I'd go as far as to say I think anyone with two arms and legs could have beaten the joker on the Haskins vs Broadhurst bill.

    Hopefully the message has gotten through to little Frank, and he will start putting Jeffries and Price in some proper fights.

    not sure of the guys name i watched him fight at don valley in sheffield hes got a crap record but hes miles better than that jeffries is in for a tough fight you heard it here 1st!!

    Jeffries gets sparked by the 1st decent fighter he faces, he aint that good and makes way to many fundamental mistakes.

    This coming out of the corner virtually windmilling in every fight is bizarre behaviour by Jeffries. I thought he was a great amateur to watch, very solid assured punching. Seems like he can take a punch but if he's going to hang his chin out non-stop we all know what will happen sooner rather than later.

    Jeffries opponent for his pro debut was probably the worst opponent I have ever seen. It was truly awful.

    He's fighting Michael Banbula. He has won his last 3, including last time out against Tony Oakey.

    Certainly no push-over.
