how jeffries even got into the british squad let alone get a fukin bronze medal is beyond me, the guy has no boxing ability what so ever..banbula made him look like a bum in the last few rounds of there fight, banbula was dancing around him jabbing his face...jeffries didn't have a clue what to do, he wont go further then british level, no chance.
yeh was just thinking about it after i saw him on ringside, seem's like a humble guy but im stuggling to find anything good about his boxing apart from his power.
Strange time to start this thread I'm prepared to give him a couple more fights with Brooks before making a judgement.
Nonsense, Jaffa was a good amateur and got his place at the Olympics through the proper route...:good Who was better and deserved to go in front of him...:think
well one thing i will say is he has done what few have had the balls/intelligence to do in the past - go to a top trainer and get top sparring. we have seen enzo become a human punch bag because he didn't want to refine himself and improve. bellew has coped on by getting away from farnell, thank god. i just hope gavin wises up soon.
Wow what a cool thread!! An Olympic medalist who has had a poor start to his career and look very poor against banbula but this was ages ago wise up man. If Jaffa had not looked to change his trainer or lifestyle I can see why you would maybe start such a look at me thread! Give him a chance and in 18 months time if he is as bad as you say then this thread maybe relative and until then stop acting like such a bozo
through the years some olympians fail to live up to amatuer ability meself i think jaffa wasnt great am but done well to get bronze but probably wont do anytin of note in the pro ranks
Jeffries was a good amateur, that's how. Despite being from Sunderland, I personally don't like him and I don't think he is a very good pro, he has just failed to make the transition and it's going to take something special from Brooks for Jeffries to succeed even at British level.
Did you see his last fight? against that guy who had been inactive for about 4 years...he looked kak in that..good knockout but yet another poor prformance, didn't look like had had improved 1 bit from the banbula fight.
