Both were aggressive come forward fighters who never backed up an inch. Who wins this war at 130?

i havent seen much of lopez but from what i remember, despite jeff's wild relentess pressure, he hid a pretty decent good straight right hand.

i would think lopez would have to a very good fighter to beat jeff because like a great fighter he was relentless for 15 rounds and even though im sure tony was stronger then jeff, jeff looks like a hard guy to clinch up and would utterly prove to be a hard fire to smother inside.

    Tony Lopez not Ayala;)

I think Fenech's hands were shot the moment he moved up to 130lbs, (with that in mind he did very well in the first Nelson fight), so at his very best, I see The Tiger getting the better of a tough war to win a close fight.

    Lopez WS15 (8-7)

Lopez would be eaten alive by the Fenech of the first Nelson fight imo.

Although both are excellent brawlers, Fenech's slight hand speed & better technical boxing ability would give him the slight edge in a twelve round fight. split decision for Fenech. Molina gave Lopez all he could handle and a better boxer with power like Fenech would fare even a little better against Lopez.
