Hide the women and children in this one! Would be a hellacious war! Ray stops Tony late.

Tony Lopez is as underrated as Ray Mancini is overrated...it would be an exciting give and take affair, but Lopez would take the decision.

Arguello would've poleaxed Lopez in about 6 rounds. Mancini gave him hell for 14. Lopez was one of the most protected fighters of the 80's. The majority of his major fights were in Arco Arena, before a raucous hometown crowd in Sacramento. Strongly disagree with him being underrated and Mancini being overrated.

Agreed. Lets not forget Mancini beat JL Ramirez easily, and I dont even see Lopez beating Ramirez.

Yeah, Mancini damn near shut out Ramirez. Kind of startling performance. I don't think he was quite the same fighter after the Kim tragedy.
As for Lopez, Damn good, tough fighter, and a champ, but I do think he usually had the odds on his side (hometown crowd) in big fights, and I do think he was a level below Mancini.
