Margarito use to be the most feared man in welter weight but now hes nothing but a cheater. This guy should be ban from boxing for using plaster of paris in his wraps. How the **** do people still support this bum ?

well, it's one thing if you get your ass kicked and come back to win, like chavez taylor or margo cotto I, but when you're getting your ass kicked, getting weaker and weaker, et cetera. basically getting stomped into the ground. i mean, what the **** is the point? also, i understand fighters have a certain mentality, but the coach should stop some of these fights. the margo pac fight should have been stopped by the trainer.

 

what about it!? he refused to quit and was trying until the last bell, while i doupt hed ever beat pac, i do feel margo struggled to make the weight having said that i may be wrong all i know is he gives it his all in every fight and i love watching him, and i have to say recently after hearing cotto in the face off and also the fact he wouldnt let margo just weigh in at 154 which is where hes the champion! my opinion of him is at an all time low.

 

i agree it should of been stopped towards the end but dont beat on margo he wanted to carry on and thats the point here

 

Love how he just keeps hitting him methodically round after round until Martinez crumbles. I've been a massive fan of him ever since that fight. If cotto obliges we will get our money's worth in their fight.

 

Margarito is a poser... He is trying to surpass Chavez Sr. This is why he acts all dramatic in the ring e.g. Telling Cintron to get up by waving his plaster loaded gloves at him... He is a guy who without plaster would have been a journeyman with stamina, a ******s chin and not enough power to hurt anyone.
