Was one of the last fights at the echo arena after the price/harrison fight, Me and my mate stayed as there were 5 more fights after main event, This guy came out and fought some black chap. Everyone was laughing at this bloke I will try find you some footage of him fighting... I can honestly say I have never seen anyone box like this chap. It was hillarious his stance was gorilla style and when he threw punches he stopped in mid air, Its crazy you would need to see him to know what i mean.

    anyone else see this?

Isnt he a cage fighter aswell? could be the reason for his interesting stance.

ah ok did not know that, that could be the reason, dont know what he is like at cage fighting but should not be in a boxing ring. even the scouse girls were laughing at him, i actually felt embarrassed for him

This is from a review of one of his fights

"Shields [12st 6lbs], based on his wide-footed stance and unusual habit of holding his gloves high above his head when coming forwards, looks to have had some sort of background in martial arts."

I saw the fight on Saturday.
I've never seen anything like it. very strange, but couldn't take my eyes off it.
He was very awkward and difficult to hit at times (apart from the shot that put him on his arse)

he seemed a strange kid all round, from the ring walk to after the fight

I know this post is old but I actually like this fighter, he's very unique, has his own style.

I read a bit about Shields in the Boxing news once and the writer said Shields looks and fights like he is dancing in a club
