I've been watching a lot of Sibbo, lately and got to wondering how this fight would have gone. People rightly talk about Benn's punching power, but Sibson was a brutal puncher, too.

Who do you think takes this one?

As much as I like Sibbo who was an absolute tank of a man, I still think Benn does a job on him.

Both hard hitters but Benn is faster. Speed Kills.

Man, what a fight. How quick does wembley sell out with this matchup?

Usually I'd lean towards Nigel here. But instead, I think he just may have problems solving a southpaw like this. And if he does not solve this guy quick, he is going to be eating some hard shots from this guy.

What a great 3 fight series here. A middleweight Limon/Chacon the way I see it. Winner and loser are going to dig deep and leave part of themselves in the ring. And whomever loses is not going out easy. And the winner could be Benn who was so dangerous when hurt.

    Sibson wasn't a leftie?

Sibbo wasn't a southpaw, but a left handed orthodox.

If we are talking at their 160 best, I like Sibbo here. He was notoriously moody & erratic, but when on his game as against Lucas, Salvemini & Minter, he was ruthless. Decent chin, good banger, fatser hands than is often given credit for and an excellent fast jab. Sibson's kayo percentage is misleading, he would often meander through routine fights but was a different animal in the big fights.

I think the best Sibson knocks the 160 Benn out.

I think I'll go with Benn. Only because he could be at his most dangerous when hurt, and Sibbo would definitely hurt him.

    Great fight though.

Would be a excellent fight.both men can hurt each other I think benn wins it he was faster I could see him hurt fighting off the ropes and catching Tony as he moves in for the finish.
