If any of you are actually stupid enough to think a boxer will throw away his career because Eddie says he has to train with Simms you are an idiot.

Now don't get me wrong Tony Sims seems a really nice guy, genuine e.g, but are favours being pulled for him, I think so. It was also Tony who talked Eddie into becoming a promoter and promoting Darren Barker. Tony in fairness looked embarrassed when Ricky shepherd him into the ring for photos at the end of his fight, same in interview

simms stable of boxers all fight on sky so yeah if I was a fighter I would train with simms just because of the sky connection its a no brainer

 

before Eddie involvement with boxing and his sky deal who did simms train apart from Barker and Lee Purdy

 

no brainer or brainless. why would you train with someone who might not improve you but regress you as a fighter. has ricky looked any better? no has kevin mitchell looked any better? imo no
it would be suicide for your career to think that just to fight on sky you need to be trained by tony sims.
look at josh warrington about a year ago he was a nobody but is now on sky regular by taking his chance when it came. more fighters should concentrate on staying in the gym, learning and when the time comes to shine you grab it by both hands.
if you are good enough to win titles and you work hard the fights will happen and tv will show your fights.
no need to jump on the eddie hearn/tony sims bandwagon!!! lol

 

Been involved with Froch for a long time.

 

really? i thought that he was trained by robert mccracken ever since he turned pro?

 

He is McCrackens number 2 when Froch fights, not aware of him taking part in Froch training though, think its more a fight night thing.

 

Rob McCracken was his trainer although sims did help out with the spit bucket at times

 

The deal Eddie offered Joshua included he train with Sims everyone know that,Joshua was all set to train with Booth
