I'm not saying he's Emmanuel steward but c'mon Mitchell was an underdog Saturday going against a world class fighter and Ryder got caught after dominating Blackwell it happens don't judge him on Saturday
Hes getting hand picked clients based on his relationship with Hearn and Matchroom if 95% had a choice id bet they wouldnt choose Simms
Really ?? You are aware Simms is Eddie Hearns Father in Law and as of recently has started a company named Simms Sports Management , Coincidence ???
Its a strange one I think he has improved Mitchell, Joshua I could train to become world champ, ryder I think Is limited don't think any trainer would make him more than euro level but I actually think burns looked good in his last fight I think there are obviously better trainers in the uk but could any of them do better with the fighters in his stable probably not! must agree though does seem to lack a bit between rounds
Bit undecided, let's not forget Burn was more impressive recently in a title fight across the pond than he has been for years.
I cant say I know the man but his cornerwork does seem very dry, droll, drab and uninspiring. Its one thing keeping a cool head and all that but some guys need a gee-up and theres no 'spark' there with Simms, no passion. Even the way he entered the ring after the stoppage seemed very lame and tame - he neither tackled the ref nor uplifted his beaten man with some morale-boosting positivity at a critical time.
Ryder was boxing really well on saturday, Pauli Malinaggi explained what he was doing wrong which ultimately led to his downfall.
does is **** you off getting blamed when the **** hits the fan ? serios question big boy...how much percentage would you say a trainer is to a decent level fight? as in tactics and round by round instructions?
