Dont worry about it mate, The foundations have been well and truly laid for a future fight with you and Clev. Losing that much weight in such a short time will have done nothing to affect your determination but in the fight game you dont want to give your opponent any physical advantages by coming in drained. All in good time Tony :good

    Bellew on another site

For people who are calling me for not making weight I'd lost 13 of 20 pounds needed, I wanted more time but after spending 2 1/2 hours in the sauna and only losing 1/2 pound it was not moving anymore! Anyone who thinks I'm lying then you all know members of my team watched me do it, I had 48hrs, I tried as hard as I could and was willing to put it all on the line, I wasn't being disrespectful at all, I was called a bum and then that's when it went a bit crazy!! I'm far far from a bum and tried my best to give the fans a fight they wanted to see.

other rumour was He weighed 195 yesterday when he told everyone that he was only 6lbs over , is this true Tony?

If he hit a wall because the water isn't in his system then it means he'll lose muscle for the Ovil fight. Bellew is a skinny guy, time to put on some muscle and move up. He looks dead.

If he lost half a pound then that means with a 2.5 hour dry out he hit 181! Time to move up.

    I agree.

I think he's a 190lb fighter, which would obviously suit him down to the ground at cruiser.

Hopefully he gets the Cleverly fight before making weight places too much of a strain on him.... and then moves up.

He's well over 6ft and it's not as if he's stick thin, I've no idea how he ever made it to be honest.

Puts it into perspective - how the **** is Enzo Mac, who is older and naturally heavier than Bellew, ever gonna make LHW!

    Not really true.

Starving yourself for a couple of days isn't going to lose fat. He lost all the water weight he could, if he had a full training camp he'd shift some pounds of body fat and then a bit of water weight for the weigh in, because he couldn't lose anymore weight in 2 days doesn't mean that he can't make the weight in 10 weeks...
