BOXING legend Tony Mundine has quit as Sonny Bill Williams' trainer for the footy superstar's fight in Brisbane next month. Mundine told The Daily Telegraph last night he would not be in Sonny Bill's corner because of his son Anthony's falling out with the promoter and his former agent Khoder Nasser. "No I'm not training Sonny Bill," Mundine said, "My son had a blue with Khoder Nasser so that's the end to it. "I don't want to go into it - that's Anthony business. "I haven't told Sonny Bill yet. I love the boy and I love his brothers. They're good people. "He's got plenty of ability I wish him well. I just can't be involved while Khoder is involved in the fight "Anthony is my son and my only son. Of course I stick by him." Sonny Bill will fight 44-year-old South African veteran Francois Botha, dubbed the "White Buffalo", on November 24 before joining the Sydney Roosters for his NRL comeback. Botha is considered way past his best and has lost his past three fights. Ever had a **** job that your heart wasn't in, and you had a better offer somewhere else? I'd walk every single time. They guy seems like a bit of a half wit to me. But who the **** stays at a job they no longer enjoy.
Sure. But I still do them the respect of giving them notice rather than just not turn up one day and leave them screwed. Its about being respectful and proffessional.
I've quit three or four jobs by walking out. Basically when things have broken down and the situation has become unworkable. Some times the only power an employee has is walking. Fair enough if it was out of the blue. But I just didn't like the emotional response from the club. It's a business after all.
I don't know but I reckon it will be khoder LOL *Actually who has been training SBW? Sounds like Tony hasn't been in touch for a while, **** the fight is only 1 month out!!!! I'm starting to think SBW might have a injury in the near future
He is in good hands then and will most likely look the best anyone has ever seen him since he laced up gloves. Botha will be lucky to last 2 rounds. Tony is hard to understand anyhow and is limited as to what he brings to the table. Would love to know more about the falling out with Khoder.
