I doubt we will see any changes from the sausage, this once talented fighter don't like to train, he's lazy and dull he should be 215-225 at most. Tony T is a true fighting man with good skills and he's very awkward, put him in with someone who can box at a decent pace for 12 rounds and he loses, that's because he is 43 years old. I'm hoping the tiger does us all a favour and retires solis for good.

I hope he knocks him out!!

Remember Tony Thompson has one of the best resumes in heavyweight boxing, and thoroughly exposed david price! That was a huge nistake from mr kelly Maloney. Thompson has bagfuls of experience, power and an iron chin. Had it been any other fringe contender thrown in with price, david would still be unbeaten and hyped to the max.

I'm Solis fan, but his lack of dedication is bad. He has the skills and good boxing IQ, but he doesn't train seriously. This is his last chance to make shift in his career. If he once again shows up bad conditioned and unmotivated, I wouldn't mind if Thompson knocks him out. Solis wasted too many chances to make the shift.

Got great handspeed if he didn't come into the ring exceeding the 260lb mark. 6'1 and he's the same weight as tyson fury, and even fury could lose some weight. Literally his last chance, Thompson has been beaten by pulev and takam in his last few fights, they aren't world beaters, but they are pretty solid top 15 heavyweights and they have twice as much stamina as solis. Solis is 34 now if he can't outwork a 43 year old man, than he should definitely pack it in. And to be honest you can't regularly blow up and down as a fighter and expect longevity, solis won't have a chance against the up comers unless he has found new vigour and weighs in at 220-235lbs and 235lbs is maximum. If he comes in looking like a bowl of pudding, I hope Thompson gives him a hiding.

Yes it's clear Solis has ability which he has shown in brief flashes in the fights with Vitali and Barrett but he's handicapped himself with his weight and discipline issues.

There is a reason there has only ever been one obese heavyweight champion and that man was old George Foreman and not everyone can be blessed with his power, longevity and luck.

Thompson is now a gate keeper kind of fighter. He'll expose the pretenders like Price but genuine contenders like Pulev and Takam will have his measure. We may see the fittest Thompson we have seen in a while due to his extended training camp and I can't see Solis coming in at the kind of shape that will make a difference. Thompson wins a UD.

solis will be 250 and out point Thompson by slight margin with fight that could go either way solis by SD.

Solis will be little better thomson little older.

Solis will never be legimate contender.

It takes years to get into shape.

Solis should have started a long time ago.

I hope both these guys get knocked out and never box again.
Thompson is old and slow and sucks, and that was when he was at his "best". Now he's older and slower and still sucks. Solis is a wasted of space in boxing. Guy can't be bothered to train hard; he should get a different job.

Toney briefly held a title before having it stripped. Corrie Sanders, Tubbs, Douglas, and Bowe weren't poster boys for physical fitness either.

Think Solis actually pulls this one out. Thompson is just getting older and Solis has to know that this could be the end of meaningful fights if he blows it.

Should be a slow and dull fight but Solis should be able to outwork this version of Thompson.

Atleast its for a minor WBC title and not one of the other alphabets. Just the thought of there being any possibility of another Wlad-Thompson fight is scary.
