He'll never do anything more than he has. I think the Luan K. win will be his career highlight.

Once he steps up, they'll knock him back down.

He is decent enough but I can't see him progressing too far.

From the limited footage I've seen of Thompson he seems to be a bit like TOS, good skills, decent power and okay chin so far.

he is very good but not sure if he can really fire up and be explosive, seems to fight at a very measured pace that doesnt change, but hey, its working for him so ill shut up till he loses

he is stiff, unathletic, no real power and simply doesn't look like a real boxer when he is in the ring.

TOS is a better puncher and a righthander.
But Thompson has a very good chin, TOS is chinny.

He will be another successful title defense in the near future.

The Bible of boxing trashed the Southern Disaster by saying that nickname suit him after the loss to the "largely un-heralded" Tony Thompson in a double page pic legend... I would find interesting if the same Press release would favour Tony to beat any of the top 10 Hwts, that would be flagrant double standard policy.

I give him no credit for the Krasniqui win. Krasinqui was done at that point, he showed no desire to win and had no footwork, which is essential for a boxer/mover. Like Asterion said he may get a title fight - where he will be outboxed or KOed by any champ.
