This would be an excellent fight for Haye to prove what he is worth as a HW, can he knock this "bum" as he called him out in fewer rounds than Wlad? If so, then he makes a great argument to be Wlad's next opponent after Povetkin.

    Quote from "The Tiger"

Does Haye step up to the challenge or does he take the easy road of Rahman/Maskaev?

How do you people see this fight going if it happens?

I wouldn't say a Thomson fight is harder than Rahman or Maskaev. They're all equally bad imo.

This is a decent first fight at HW, but Thompson aint a lot better than Maskaev or Rahman.

    Prediction 1...Haye doesn't want any.

Prediction 2...Haye loses if it comes off.

I agree but it would be a good measuring stick to see how he is compaired to Wlad.

This is the fight that makes sense in my opinion. If Haye can beat him convincingly, the Klitschko fight is suddenly red hot.

    Jesus.

Thompson can't hit, is slower and seems to have mental difficulties. What's this based upon?

Who the hell cares about Tony Thompson? Thompson's amateur career consisted of him street fighting. The guy is a decent fighter who got the most out of his limited talent. Haye should've fought Cunningham in May or June. He could've been a genuine undisputed CW champ had he got past Cunningham. Anyway, Thompson is not a good first fight at HW.

Best fight would be against Dimitrenko. He has size, speed and skills enought to show how he can handle big guy's with skills and speed and best of all Dimitrenko lacks a punching power.

Tony is looking for the money, making himself available sooner than later.

This fight should be lucrative, there seems to be starting some kind of run for this fight. Rahman, Maskaev, Skelton, Toney, Chambers and now the Tiger.
