    He was being broken down by Fragomeni, a guy with better power would've put Haye away that day. Haye would have serious problems with Thompson, I don't remember Haye fighting a southpaw yet, or at least one with a pulse. There is a reason why Haye has avoided mentioning Thompson's name, he knows he will lose as well. That's fair enough, he wants to make big money before his chin gets shattered at HW and Wlad will get him that huge payday but could also end his career with one right hand.

    Haye has mentioned Thompsons name several times if you read the interviews....

    Yes, WALDO could end Haye's career with a right hand but the reverse is also true. Both have glass chins, this is proven. I'm not a Haye nut-hugger, I like him as a man he's pretty decent as is WALD. As fighters both of them are B level at best. The heavyweight division is crying out for interest and excitement right now and Haye might just provide it, that's the only reason I defend him. He might beat WALDO but that still wouldn't make him a great champion, it'd just mean he's got rid of a nasty smell that's all.

    Wlad can take a punch. That was proven in his fights with Peter, Mercer, Sanders, McCline, Brewster and Thompson. Yes, he may fall, but the dude gets up every single time. Haye can't take a punch from a heavy. If cruisers had him reeling and running for his life, a heavyweight puncher ko's his greek food eating ass.

    Has he mentioned his name in the context of fighting him or was he just calling him a bum?
    As I've said before, I hope Haye makes it to a fight with Wlad because it would be the most highly anticipated HW fight in years. I never had a problem with Haye until he started trash talking and not backing it up, and now it's gotten to such a point of ridiculousness that it's taking away from the excitement he originally generated when he moved up to HW. Well and good if a guy is a big talker but backs it up in the ring but now Haye is talking about a fight with JD Chapman FFS. How do you go from legit top 10's to JD Chapman and save face?

    They are both B level at best. A level is the likes of Ali, Lewis, Louis, Marciano, Foreman etc (at HW)

    If you think WALDO is up with those guys then feel free to point out why. Actually at this moment Haye is D level at HW but may improve, WALD will not.

    He just called him a bum as I recall. Will Haye fight Thompson or not, I don't know. What you need to realise is why the hell should Haye fight him on his first step in the HW division? Did WALD fight Thompson in his first fight at HW? Of course not. It's unfair to criticise Haye for taking a few easy fights at the weight to start off with, this isn't unusual. Talking **** is also not unusual for Gods sake :lol:

    no wlad had to fight out of germany the same way vitali had to 10 or so years ago.

    the cushion that haye has now, neither klitshko brother had at that time.

    i know that because i was watching them fight at that time.

    Haye can fight Bonin again if he wants I just thought there was a chance that maybe he would be true to his word and take on tough competition upon his move to HW. He had everyone's attention with his boasting and now he is losing it with his inability to back up his claims.
    I was hoping he would bring more excitement to the division but now he is becoming another empty shittalker. How long before he starts mentioning going to Burger King in his post fight interviews.

    No, but David Haye wants to fight Vladimir in "early 2009". He even got in his face and called him a chicken because Haye claims he didn't want to fight. Haye of all people calling someone a chicken, who right now seems to be avoidng all tough fights at HW.

    Do you acctually think Haye should get a title shot after having one fight against JD Chapman, then get Klitschko in "early 2009"? That is ridiculous!

    He claimed he would fight a top 10 opponent. What is this Kevin Johnson, JD Chapman nonsense?

    Who gives a **** how many times he's hit the canvas. How many times has he stayed down? 0. The man has been hit by some of the biggest heaviest hitters in the history of the sport and you want to mock him. I take back the go **** yourself reply.
