Anthony Joshua will step up in class after he will UD Kevin 'Kingpin' Johnson. Tony Thompson announced yesterday on his Facebookpage he will fight Joshua on a date yet to be announced.

Huge step up for Joshua. Can TTT expose the British hypejob, or will Joshua KO him brutally?

I think Thompson got this if he survives in the first 4 rounds.

    Thompson TKO8.

Nah, TT is decent but Joshua should get this.

I think it'll be a good fight though. It will go a few rounds, AJ will need to work on his defense and he'll struggle to find the target as quickly.

I think it will be a fight that will take him to the next level

BTWi also think he knocks out Johnson in 4-6 rounds

"IF" Joshua can beat Thompson then he deserves some credit and maybe it will justify some of this hype he's been getting. Hey, he even deserves credit for stepping up to fight him, if he does it soon as that.

I mean, Tyson Fury has managed to get himself rated highly somehow by avoiding Thompson or anyone as good as that.

Gotta give it to TT, he'll take on anyone to stay in title contention.

That would be quite an impressive resume for a 25 year old, 13 fight Heavyweight!

What will you say if Joshua beats him tho, let me guess 'Thompson is old, Joshua will be exposed when he fights a live body' and that will go on and on until he loses.

whoah really!? Nice. Thompson got to price who hadn't been tested - and im not convinced Kingpin is enough of a bridge between the two. Thompson will come to win. Kingpin to survive...Still good news if it happens

Tony Thompson is a specialist in exposing hype jobs. unlike anybody that Joshua has fought at this stage in his pro career, Thompson can punch and has the boxing intelligence to outwit him. I'd go for a TT win.

Does Thompson get to keep these Olympians medals when he takes their souls?

    ...Sorta like in Highlander?

The difference from Joshua to Price is that Joshua can box, and utilises his jab well.
Price just goes for the knock-out and has bad stamina.

Joshua's stamina is better than Price's

    No hypes being exposed here.

Yet you think he will 'expose' Joshua? So you must consider him a decent test...which in turn surely means if he beats him it's a good enough win to say he's not a hype job?
