Come on guys with this expose'....

Thompson is a TOUGH OUT for anyone in the division, but let's be realistic here.

He twice hit the lottery vs Price, eardrum and gassing, and barely squeeked past and undertrained out of shape, Solis.

Other than that, he's been beaten thoroughly by Wlad X2, handily by Takam and Pulev.

Joshua is AT least as good a talent as Takam, and I have no doubt Price would spark him if they fought a finale.

My guess is Joshua ends this fight in the 4th or 5th rds, with Thompson looking to bang him outta there and getting caught up.

5-6 yrs ago.....that Thompson has put on 30 lbs and is content to train with Viagra in the sack.

No chance he beats another future titlist. :nono

Hardly, TT exposed Price TWICE, which proved he never got lucky and it wasn't a fluke.

Against Solis in his last fight, Thompson dominated from start to finish, his work rate and consistent pressure exhausting the opponent the same way as in the second fight against Price.

TT can most certainly expose the next fraud who steps up.

Good step up for Joshua. Thompson may be older, but he will make it tough at times. Joshua by UD.

He didnt EXPOSE Price anymore than Brewster EXPOSED Wladimir.

That same Brewster got handled by Liakovich ffs and took Ls to Shufford and Etienne, and barely got past Kali Meehan. All of whoms chins make Wlads look like iron if not stone.

So what did Brewster EXPOSE in Wlad????

The same thing that Thompson EXPOSED in Price. The eardrum....come on.....if ever there was a fluke injury in a ring. I mean....Sebastian Lujan had his ear ripped off by Brick Wrapped MargoCHEATO and his eardrum didnt tear.
Tyson literally bit Holyfields ear off.

Thompson cupped Price and his tore. FLUKE.

And the rematch. Come on, Price was pummeling Thompson until he got dear in the headlights in the 5th when TT was still there and fighting. He mentally bottled it and gassed. All there is to it.

As for Joshua. Im sure he's aware of Thompson v PriceX2. Im sure he knows he's in for some tough infighting. But Im also sure he knows that Pricey, had he bode his time after the KD, woulda spaked TT in the rematch, Im positive AJ catches him too, and excercises Fury, Wlad, Wilderesque POISE in getting the KO. TT will simply walk right into the R hand over and over till it's over. :thumbsup

If this fight happens it shows a high level if confidence from Joshua and his backers . To put pretty much a novice in with Thompson is a pretty bold move , Thompson is a tough fight for any of today's heavyweights. props to both fighters for taking this fight

Joshua's got ***** for taking this, it's a great test, Thompson can do 12 rounds no problem, question is can joshua stop him or will Thompson turn out to be Joshua's 'Carl Thompson' ???

So you are saying Thompson was lucky against Price :patsch

First time, Thompson KTFO Price. At the redemption, Thompson beat again the sh*t out of Price. Solis only loss was vs Vitali Klitschko. Thompson schooled him in the first bout, and beat the sh*t out of him in the second.

Thompson was not smart to fight Pulev only one month after fighting Price, a fight where he also got dropped. Thompson schooled Pulev in the first three rounds, but then gassed and lost a 8-4 decision. With good stamina, I wouldn't be surprised if he won a decision vs Pulev as well.

Takam was a horrible match up stylewise for him. Thompson does not handle pressure brawlers well and is not powerful enough to keep them at distance.

That been said, I still believe Thompson is the best US heavyweight at this moment.

Personally I think Kev Johnson following by Thompson shows sensible, clever progression.

Hopefully we can see Joshua in with one of his British rivals before the end of the year.

Had Wilder fought TT, people would have ripped him a new **** for fighting a 44 year old man.

But it is what it is.

I like TT, hope he wins this.

Wilder walked a big circle around TT... also did Fury... so AJ has my full respect :bbb
