That's it. And only who dksab would think Sanders would have had any chance the second time.
He had more chances against Vitali, and he almost knoccked him down in the first round already. :deal
He rocked him with a single punch.

That young Wlad was never going to beat Sanders. Sanders would be dangerous match up for any version of Wlad. It is what it is. NO pre Steward Wlad would beat Sanders.

You clowns are a bunch of liars and grunt. He was a bad matchup for Sanders. Sanders was willing to give Wlad a rematch. Wlad is penalized in history for this. It's the sole reason why he is not an atg in my book.

Yes this one fight that he did not make took his atg status. I didn't mention any other rematches but this one. Gold medalist, was in his prime. He was scared of Sanders and his fast hands. Great fighter, but Wlad is NOT an atg sorry. :-(

That Wlad was simply too reckless. Sanders, if nothing else, was the definition of a dangerous frontrunner.

The safety-first Wlad that minimizes mistakes matches up much better. Sanders would always be a dangerous fight (and IMO, is a dangerous fight for anyone in the first half of a fight), but Wlad fighting smart has the tools to beat him. There's just not the margin of error there as there is with other fighters.

When you meet an equal and get your ass kicked, you make the rematch no matter what-no questions asked. Win or lose at least your heart won't be questioned. Shane took a beating from Forrest and came back and fought him again and redeemed himself win or lose.

Sharmba Mitchell knew it would be hard to beat Kostya Tszyu yet lost by ko in both fights and yet he wanted a rematch sooner or later. Kostya bypasses a Vince Phillips rematch? He is penalized also in history. It is what it is.

He couldn't even beat DaVarryl Williamson and had to bend the rules to beat Povetkin.

The status of being an ATG isn't thrown around lightly. You have to prove you are one of the best fighters who ever lived. When did Wlad ever do this?
He's never performed or looked like a great fighter in his life. He looks like absolute ****.

The best guy his own size he ever faced destroyed him in 2 rounds.

There's no such thing as an active ATG HW who cant sell per view and who and got dumped off every major sports network.

This interviewer is a straight up DKSAB.

Thompson is likely happy to have the exposure, but he's gotta be thinking "how is this guy got a radio show".:huh:huh:huh

Sanders refused to give Vlad a rematch. Vlad tried, but Sanders refused. Whoever said that Vlad refused a rematch with Sanders is just plain wrong, badly misinformed, lying, delusional, whatever.

Vlad does not have a bad chin. His loss to Purrity had nothing to do with his chin, he ran out of gas in the 11th round.

Vlad did not prepare for Sanders. Sanders was preparing to fight Valouev in South Africa, he was in the best condition of his entire career. Lennox Lewis admitted that he avoided Sanders. Vlad did not even bother to spar, much less with a southpaw.

In the fight with Brewster, Vlad was drugged. Yes, there was an outside influence, even Emanuel Steward said it, so did Vitali. Anyone want to see the Judd letter again, let me know. The doctors were not concerned with Vlad's MRI, which showed no sign of a concussion, but the doctors were concerned about Vlad going into a diabetic coma. Vlad has never had diabetes before the fight nor after the fight, yet his blood sugar was sky high, yes, many drugs will do that, esp. in a huge overdose. Vlad tried to get a rematch with Brewster, but Don King would never allow it because Don King knew that Vlad would knock Brewster out. Vlad finally got the rematch with Brewster and stopped him easily, won every round, no contest.................I have heard idiots lying about Vitali and Vlad for many years now, even before they came to America, the the US boxing media lied about them as much as they could get by with.................

By the way, Mark (RAT) ner resigned after that fight................Ratner...........

    Very suspicious
I always thought it was rigged-esp since Wlad handled him so easily

The contract every fighter signs against Wlad or Vitali locks them into immediate rematches if they win. K2 decides who steps up.
Sanders signed away all his options going into the fight.
Chris Byrd was forced to fight Wlad straight after beating Vitali. The k2 slave contract owned his ass.
When Haye fought Wlad the contract stipulated Vitali could step in and fight for Wlad if he didn't feel up for it.
Wlad didn't have the balls to face Sanders again and fought two complete cans in a row instead.
Nobody dictates to Bernd Bounter. Especially not a guy who just creamed Wladimir.
They wanted the belt back so sent Vitali to do the job.

At the time of the Sanders fight there was no K2, the K brothers we promoted by Universum at that time and had no influence on contracts and rematch clauses.

Chris Byrd talked about being a victim of these contracts when he beat Vitali, 3 years before the Sanders fight.
