Earlier today, ring warrior Tony Thompson offered to fight Tyson Fury next Saturday on just one week's notice.

Thompson is a throwback to the old days, when boxers were fearless warriors willing to fight anyone, anywhere, anytime. Nowadays, in contrast, many boxers are prima donnas like David Haye and Andre Ward who demand everything their own way and regularly pull out of fights.

:good Props to Thompson, there's too few boxers like him nowadays.

Props to him but doubt people who have paid for tickets will be happy with that

Tony really is one of a kind, apparently he's a huge fan of glee and watching musicals lol, who would've thought

The guy should consider going into movies after he retires

No way they let Thompson go over there and Shatter another Brits Glass Jaw. They learned their lesson with Price.

The longer he's out of the ring the more out of shape he becomes. Big respect to The Tiger.
I'd like to see this fight.

Throwback my ass.. He knows he got his ass kicked by Pulev and is desperate forr another payday so he's " volunteering " to face Fury..

What has he done to get a shot at Fury? lol he just lost to Pulev.

Fury has nothing to gain by beating this slow bum..

I'd be shocked if it happened, but props to the Tiger regardless. The more I hear from him, the bigger fan I become. It's a shame it took him so long to get exposure.

Very cool if it takes place... very lame if it doesn't...... perfect excuse for not fighting Thompson would be that the Haye fight is gonna go down in 4-6 weeks though.
