Yes, I am worried about cheating in the fight with Povetkin................Povetkin's only chance is to cheat, he has no chance otherwise.............

Why is that sad? Povetkin had a stellar amateur career and has been a top 5 HW for a couple years. Obviously he will be one of Wlad's toughest tests.

I agree..............Povetkin is an Olympic Gold medalist, superheavyweight division....so us Vlad. We will see two gold medalists fighting for the title. However, Vlad is superior and will knock Povetkin out. Povetkin is afraid of Vlad, but will try to win................He will not run like Haye.........

I believe in the case of Povetkin that it was his management/trainers pulling him out of those fights and not himself. Povetkin I believe wanted to fight Wlad, but I think he takes the advice of his trainers/management very seriously. He shouldn't have ducked Wlad, but I don't think it was done out of fear or losing. I agree that Wlad will either knock Povetkin out in the middle-late rounds or win a wide UD.

povetkin does not have a sturdy chin..he has been hurt multiple times by not so big hitters..then look at his lack of head movement and couple that with wlads jab jab straight right..we also need to look at povetkins eyes which like to swell when hes tagged and his lack of defence..i to agree sasha will come in amazing shape..infact im with the majority who thinks he"ll be juicing but hey so what..he is physically not strong i mean if you get threw about by huck and chambers then your in big trouble..can he land body shots if he manages to slip???maybe but with wlads footwork & defence when he does miss that jab i highly doubt it...since he left atlas hes been fighting poor opposition really poor..and its easy to counter guys who are below your standard and dont possess huge physicall and athletic advantages over you...

povetkin may hope there is either some dodgy doings or wlad shits himself being in russia..this fights isnt going past 7 rounds...cause once povetkin feels the power he dosnt have the ability to run and his defence isnt good enough to stop wlad from stopping him like iggys was

    great post..

i have no doubts in my mind that povetkin will show up loaded..but there isnt a damn thing wlad can do about it other than just get on with it so fare play to him..

real fans who have brains should be giving wlad a pat on the back for going to russia and fighting under these circumstances...i just hope it dosnt get to him...i did ask chef about these things but he ducked the question which is fine and understandable

That quote exposes you as someone who never lived in Eastern Europe and is just pretending.

Now if I misunderstood you, I apologize before hand. But 1st of all Eastern Europe is not a Country... it's a region. For you to bunch that region together and call it 'your countrymen' is extremely ignorant and highly offensive.
Look at how offended and disgusted Uysk got when someone said he looked 'Russian'.. (Uysk is the Olympic Winner who is friends with Lomachenko).. when the reporter said 'you look Russian' Uysk had a look of utter disgust on his face and he quickly said 'Ukrainian'

Ukraine and Russian relations might be stronger now than it was before but the things Russia did to Ukraine is not forgotten.. for you to call both a Russian and a Ukrainian 'countrymen' speaks volumes in regards to your understanding of the cultural and historical relationship between the two countries.

I was born in USSR. Russian is my native tongue, I am a mix of 4 bloods, and to me Russians and Ukrainians are no different. Frankly, anyone who speaks Russian I consider to be my people, even if they don't think the same way about me. I was in my late teens when I came to canada, a country where racial separation isn't as glaring as USA (thank god).

The reason why Usik had that reaction was because for the last 12 years, a disinformation war is taking place that is trying to separate these two countries. As a matter of fact, the battle between Klitschko and Povetkin is being positioned as a mini-war between the two respective countries, Ukraine and Russia. It's the Cezar's tactic of divide and conquer, and it brings forth fruits for the ruling parties in those countries.

    About 2/3 going for Pulev.

I wonder if that would've been a higher fraction before Price I & II? :think

The winner will be Wlad's mandatory, which means if Thompson wins . . . well, I don't want to see Wlad-Thompson III, because there's no point in it.

As much as nobody wants or needs to see it again, Thompson would be more deserving and pose more challenge than Wlad's last couple of challengers.

(I just got de ja vu saying that...)

edit: not counting Povetkin. Totally forgot that was happening. So, no, Thompson would be a huge step down from Povetkin...but still, better than Pianeta and Wach.

Your whole post is rendered useless on the mention of Wlad being drugged. Brewster beat Wlad fair and square.....Whose loss excatly will it be if Wlad gets defeated? On the contary son, it will good for boxing if Wlad gets taken out....Dont ever forget that Wlad and his team refused testing by any angency other than his own.

These fools are still claiming Wlad was drugged:-(. Body shots was the drug that beat Wlad that night and of course his weak chin. Just imagine all the excuses we will hear when Povetkin beats Wlad (if Wlad does not duck him which I think he will. ) Povektin is going to Wlads body early and around the 5th round he will stop Wlad. Then Farmboxer will be saying he told us Wlad was going to get drugged. Povetkin must have them worried because this is the first time I've seen them making excuses before a fight.

Body shots my ass. Wlad was beating Brewster from pillar to post that fight and then punched himself out.

How'd the rematch go? Pretty much like the first, I would submit, only that time Wlad did not punch himself out.

In words of my favorite rapper, You couldn't son me if my father helped you.

Honestly, seeing your ignorant, agenda driven self trying to present your phobias and desires as facts and benefits is like watching a 5 year old try to argue that candy for dinner is a great idea.

Brewster got very, very lucky. I rewatched that fight so many times, and aside from amazing endurance and punch recovery, Brewster contributed nothing to his win in the first 4 rounds of the fight. I don't know the cause of Klitschkos rapid deterioration, but there is a video on youtube that shows every punch Brewster landed, and if memory serves me well, he only started connecting on the body after round 5, when Wlad already looked dead. At this point the cause of poisoning is a subject of speculation, it very well could be something Klitschko's own team messed up, but the fact remains. He who has eyes shall see, and I saw a man get worse and worse, and get to a near coma, without getting hit. That just doesn't happen to a seasoned athlete in his prime, not without help from external factors.

As for testing, I think I know more about the situation than you. Rusada is corrupt to the core, Wlad would be a MORON to agree to be tested by it. If anything, his team has made a HUGE favor to the Povetkin's team by letting them get tested by Rusada, allowing him to essentially do whatever PED's he can get his hands on. Germany is a stickler for protocol and procedure, it is much harder to falsify results when tested by Nada.
