This fight is too long away. Solis needs a fight now this month while he's actually in shape. Christ knows what he'll look like after the Christmas festivities. I assumed he was going to with him in camp and all.

Excellent fight for both guys, would like to see how Solis does in this one.

This is a nice little matchup. I do hope it comes off, while I don't want to see Klitschko Thompson 3. I think Thompson knows he will never get that fight but if he wins this fight he can act as a gate keeper and remain in top level fights. Solis has all the talent in the world, I haven't followed him lately but he looked like a big "what could've been" guy to me because he is lazy and unmotivated. I like Thompson even at his age he is good for the sport-fights anyone-comes prepared and knows how to promote himself.

Thompson wide UD, Solis is a fat disgrace.

I think this is a good matchup. Solis has a lot to prove and Thompson - even if way past his best - is still hungry to cause yet another upset.

Having said that, I think Solis takes this by UD.

One of the only American boxers with a pair of balls. Wish more American fighters were like him rather than been cherry pickers and shameless duckers.

I like Tony, but I think Solis will win this. There is a lot of talent under that flab.

Why do you think Klitschko Thompson 3 is going to happen if TT wins this match? :patsch

Not directly and solely based on this match but it does put him within a couple of wins from another shot. As much as it will be predictable and redundant, it would be justified it Thompson was since Klitschko II coming off a run of: Price x2, competitive loss to Pulev, Solis, plus a couple more top 15-20 W's. (say, Fury & Teper). That would be superior to almost every other heavyweight contender's recent body of work except for Pulev who by then will have probably already gotten his turn at challenging.

If Solis wins it will put him in great shape for a bout with Wlad sometime this year. If Thompson wins he'll find his way into another final eliminator for a shot at Wlad Thompson III. I think and hope Solis will win, but I think its even more likely the fight doesn't happen.

That would be a good fight and a proper test for Solis. If he wins, that could put him on the fast track to a title shot, may be in 2015. I am not sure Solis will take up the fight though. Kudos again to the Tiger - the man has balls!

Do the math and you will see that TT has no time left for such adventure.
2014 -Wlad will probably have 3 fights - Leapai, someone else, Pulev. And many jokers like Adamek, Fury, Haye, Wilder, Chisora are thinking right now that they deserve a title shot in 2014. In order to fulfil their wishes Wlad is suposed to fight like 10 times per year. AND believe me, they all deserve it!!! :patsch
