Tony Thompson did give Wlad his toughest fight of the past few years and acquitted himself well. He was competitive for a while. Anybody says different, didn't really watch it IMO. That said, TT hasn't gotten much decent fights since and i'm pretty sure wlad would get a stoppage again (tt's gotta be 40 right now).

It was a good first fight, but I'm not exactly thrilled at the idea of a rematch. I would rather see Wladimir vs Haye (which I know will never happen because Haye won't show), or perhaps Wladimir vs Solis. What about Ustinov or Platov? Anyone know anything about these guys? Honestly, I think we need to start looking outside of the traditionally high ranked boxers, because right now, none of them are going to present a challenge to Wlad, or they have already tested the waters and lost.

accumulated? it was a one punch out cold knock out and wlad won almost all rounds.

Thompson is not very good. He was bit more awkward for Wlad than the usual Wlad opponent because he's the same size as Wlad.
Thompson is old and he's another one of those guys that did not pick up boxing gloves until very late in life. He barely won a round the first time out, and I don't think at nearly 40 his game has improved any since then. It probably has gotten worse.

Past Wlad he had 3 fights and KOed Adnan Serin (nobody), Owen Beck and Chazz Witherspoon. Props to him by stopping all of them but I don´t think that is all that impressive. These are not exactly contenders although I´m sure it´s not Tony´s fault he couldn´t get better opponents.

I don´t think there is much interest in another fight since the last one, although quite difficult for Wlad, was not exactly a very exciting fight for the viewers.
