    Agreed.

Yet most of you fellas thought PED's didn't exist and were simply voodoo magic rumors as recently as just a couple years ago. That nobody would ever use a banned substance and that they can only hinder a boxer. Unacceptable and foolish opinions to have ever held.

Good thing that attitude seems to have changed.

Any PED testing in boxing or any form of athletics is good. The more intense PED testing, the better. No exceptions. I have always felt it unacceptable for a boxer to turn down any form of drug testing.

Especially a champion. Simply disgraceful. Whenever a fighter denies testing it should be an admition of guilt.

    Who thought that exactly? :huh

Why would anybody think a PED (clue's in the name) could hinder a boxer.

And by that final sentence do you think it's OK for Mayweather to only use USADA and not any other PED testing agency? :think

no you mean good thing they test in England, they have year round round random drug testing

not like the USADA who just test in run up to fights(and they
don't even do that if your names shaun porter)

VADA is the way to go in the states it should be mandatory

You weren't around to see the mad and dead serious claims from a certain fanbase back in 2010 during the whole fiasco when PED's and drug testing were the biggest subjects of discussion daily here on ESB.

The vast, vast majority of folks on here felt that PED's were not used by boxers and that PED use would hurt the performance of those taking it. Anyone around before the end of 2012, yes you can guess why that time period, could vouch for me (unless they were in the guilty party and are trying to revise their stance).

Although it is deplorable that he used PEDS, with Price's weak jaw, it wouldn't have mattered anyways.

But still, this is low from TT.

Testing in the USA is up to the discretion of local commissions. Only scheduled urine tests, if that... It's a pathetic standard of drug testing.

USADA or VADA only test if the fighters agree to a specific contract for a specific range of dates. This too is misleading because each of the camps get to see and even choose which substances are and are not tested for.

Obviously, ANY amount of testing is better than no or less testing.

The testing is going to be corrupt and beaten no matter what. It's the nature of the beast. The tests are in response to the substance. The substance and its usage come first...

I was saying "good thing that seems to have changed" in reference to the attitude that fans have toward PED's and PED-testing. Thank the heavens that they have managed to cast aside their ignorance or agendas on this serious issue, for the most part.
