That of course is awful journalism by The Guardian -- a highly respected paper by the way. If Thomspon failed a drug test the result would have been changed to NC. Obviously the BBBoC was fully aware of Thompsons condition and so was Price. There was no failed drug test.

Again, awful journalism. Maybe they think it does, but its not helping Price.

Not always, there are a few that still aren't changed and some of them probably never will.
I do agree with the rest of your remark. It was fully disclosed before the fight started and this just looks like a clear case of sour grápes.

Exactly, the man is on medication for a condition. Makes it even worse for Price tbh. :yep

I simply believe Tony "The Tiger" Thompson has hypertension, which is a rather serious medical condition; one that requires proper diagnosis and treatment. Apparently, he disclosed this info prior to the first David Price fight. Price actually got knocked out by an "old man" with high blood pressure TWO times.

Furthermore, I 100% agree that PEDs are unanimously classified as banned substances, but banned substances are not unequivocally PEDs.

He was taking HCTZ, a blood pressure medication which causes frequent urination.
By not retaining fluids, it lowers his sodium levels and overall blood volume thereby lowering blood pressure.

Now, if he drank 3 gallons of water, the HCTZ would cause his urine to be diluted, and this is how it, like all diuretics, are considered "masking" agents.
However, urine actually has a weight, called "specific gravity" which is lowered drastically when urine is diluted.
In other words, you really need to give Tiger the benefit of the doubt here.

Unless his SG is abnormally low, he was probably not masking anything.
At least he has never declined testing or imposed NonDisclosure agreements in order to make the fight.

Everyone since Oscar has signed one to fight BHOP, and k2 are prepared to as well for that fight in the winter 2016.

Brits gotta feel better somehow over Pricey's schoolgirl chin.

Blood pressure medicine made Price turn his back and almost jump out of the ring in the second fight.

    Wonder what Teper was on?
