    Disagree.

A prime Witherspoon and Tokyo Douglas are pretty close to call in terms of ability. Oh and '87 version Douglas was handily outboxing Tucker 'till he ran out of steam (gave up). :good

I think Terrible Tim would be too assertive, too busy and too adept with the jab for Tucker. As always, Tucker would have his moments and maybe even shake Tim up a bit, but would ultimately never get into the fight mentally.

    Tim Witherspoon by UD.

TNT Tucker had the talent to hand with "Terrible" Witherspoon, but not necessarily, the desire, or experience. He would put forth a good effort, but prime vs prime, would lose a close one via unanimous decision.

A world class Heavyweight losing out to Witherspoon due to lacking necessary desire...

Witherspoon outboxed Renaldo Snipes, Floyd Cummings, Greg Page, Bonecrusher Smith (first fight), Tony Tubbs, Jose Ribalta, Carl "The Truth" Williams, Al Cole, Elieser Castillo, Ahmed Abdin.

He very close decision to Larry Holmes, Pinklon Thomes, and Ray Mercer. He lost the rematch vs. Bonecrusher Smith (LTKOby1).

    He stopped A. Ratliff KO7, J. Tillis KO1, and F. Bruno KO11maybe a wearom

    I'll take Witherspoon

Tough call, the Tucker who stopped an in shape Douglas and went the distance with a peak Tyson would have won in a close pick em fight. I would rate Witherspoon on a similar level to Oliver McCall and a slightly past it Tucker was able to edge McCall so i think circa 87', he beats Witherspoon in a close fight on points.

Prime for prime Witherspoon wins a close one. Spoon just a little above Tucker. A entertaining enough fight but no fireworks , no knock down s and neither fighter ever really hurt .

Witherspoon slightly better fighter but the reach and footspeedare going to be a big problem. Tuckler can move and fire for12 rounds and witherspoon didnt have the fastest feet. Bad style match up for tim.

Spoon at his best would probably out hustle Tucker for points decision .Trouble is spoon very inconsistent if he wasn't at his best then Tucker wins on points .One for the purists I think.

I’m a fan of both but an on song Witherspoon would have had too much in the way of smarts for Tucker.

A competitive bout, but comfortable UD for Spoon.

    Witherspoon by decision.

He's far more powerful and just as sturdy.

He'd get Tucker to stop moving and force trades.
