    4th round
    Lopez badly hurt
Rafael one of the best finishers in the game

    In steps Tony

He should have let the fight continue, then deducted the point at the end of the round

Instead, his actions took Rafael's big moment away from him

    Congratulations Tony :verysad

    Disagree.

Lopez was hurt, but Marquez still had a decent chance of capitalising, and he didn't.

Lopez was taunting him to 'come on' aswell.

    I dislike the ref though.

I apologize for Tony, he should have told Lopez that it was illegal to beat that ass

You might be right, provided it was a for gone conclusion that Marquez would of stepped in and end it right there and then, which wasn't a for gone conclusion, therefore, Weeks did not cost him the fight.

The only thing Tony did wrong was not take away another point from Juanma. His wedging Marquez's head between his hip and elbow and pressing on neck WHILE punching was continual and non-stop. As disgraceful as Mora in his recent bout...

I believe being punched repeatedly in the face by Lopez is what cost Marquez the fight.

Totally agree. Juanma is one of Showtime's golden boys Rafa was seconds from stopping him, but Weeks jumps in at the worst time to stop the onslaught of Rafa's barrage and decides to take a point away. That is some of the worst b.s. I have ever seen. The only chance Rafa really had was taken away from Weeks. Great job Tony!

If Juanma lost, this would be all over the forums...

He didn't cost him the fight at all. He had to deduct a point right then and there, what's he gonna do, wait til the end of the round and tell him- ''point deducted for that rabbit punch 30 seconds ago''

I doubt if Rafa was stopping him either. Sure Juanma was a bit hurt, but Rafa was at best only dropping him, but I doubt that too.
