How would , "The Man Of Steel " make out in today's middle weight division?

Zale vs. Martinez could be an interesting fight.

Chavez should present no greater difficulties than Hostak did.

Other than that, who else is out there?

    He would be a G.

He might drop a fight here and there but would likely ruin a lot of the hittable top guys out at the moment.

Zale would have cracked Martinez by the 9th.

Well first off Zale would be fighting at Welterweight such is the trend today to fight well below your natural weight... he would clean up, as Zale and Co fought even bigger fellas than middleweight in their own great era.

So really hard to concieve his kind losing too much in todays poor economic market!!!

T,Tony Zale was a strong legitimate 160 pound middleweight from the start of his great career. A murderous, tough as "steel" body puncher who was
going great before WW2 when he lost FOUR years in the service, and resumed fighting at the advanced age of 33 years. He would have had a picnic with today's crop of middleweights, no doubt...

I think Martinez would beat Zale, personally.
