I think this will be competitive until Minters habit of cutting shows up giving Zale the victory. Thoughts?

I think Zale was a cut above Minter, as evidenced by the Minter v Hamsho fight.

Alan Minter was a very good fighter and champion. He had good combos and a stiff ride jab that kept an aggressive Vito Antuofermo at bay in their two World Middleweight Title bouts, won by Alan. However, on Sept 27 1980 in London, England, he suffered a devastating defeat at the hands of Marvelous Marvin Hagler, losing his title, resulting from a bad laceration on the eyebrow. Tony Zale a very tough fighter, fought wars against Rocky Graziano. Zale was stopped by Marcel Cerdan on Sept 21 1948, in round 11, losing his NBA World Middleweight Title.Tony would employ a strong body attack to the body of Minter, who would be in full retreat. A cut in round 8 would end the bout in favor of Tony Zale.

Zale too tough for Minter, plus Minter bled fairly easily. Zale stops him on cuts in 6.

Tony gets up close and busts open Minter s skin. But Minter slightly in front at time of stoppage.
